WAFB hosts virtual food drive for Hunger Action Month
Our community is balancing so many uncertainties caused by COVID-19. WAFB and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank are asking for your help to make sure food isn’t one of them. Help us stock the shelves as we move into fall by donating to WAFB’s “Food For Fall” virtual food drive.
The “Food For Fall” virtual drive will run through Hunger Action Month. Each September, people across the country stand together with food pantries, food banks, and the Feeding America Network, fighting to end hunger in their communities.
You can get involved by donating time and food to the Greater Baton Rouge Food bank. Click here for more information on volunteering. You can also donate food by dropping it off at the Food Bank or in one of the collection barrels around town.
This September help make a difference and donate today.
