Apple Nachos Recipe
This summer, our Nutrition Services team is sharing fun summer snacks for kids! Gather your favorite apples and toppings to make this simple and healthy treat. Apple Nachos make a great snack that everyone can enjoy!
Ingredients
Apples – we used Gala
Nut butter – we used peanut butter
Chocolate chips
Shaved coconut
Granola
Directions
Wash and slice your apples, make sure to check for seeds
Place apple slices onto a plate
Warm your nut butter in the microwave for about 30 seconds to thin
Drizzle nut butter onto the apples and top with your favorite toppings, we used chocolate chips, coconut flakes, and granola
