Ida Disaster Response Volunteers Urgently Needed
The Food Bank is in disaster recovery mode and are faced with an urgent need for volunteers in our sort and repack room. We are working non-stop to fill the staggering increase in need for food assistance.
We have two sort and repack volunteer shifts each weekday and two on Saturdays. Be on the lookout for Sunday shifts as well.
We cannot overstate how much we need your help. We need 5,000 boxes packed as soon as possible, with more requests coming in.
This is when the spirit of Louisiana truly shines as we come together to help our neighbors in need.
