Purchase a Holiday Red Bag to Feed a Local Family

This holiday season, Associated Grocers and Coca-Cola are teaming up with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to sell Red Bags. Shoppers can purchase pre-packed, red Coca-Cola bags for $10 at Associated Grocers grocery stores to donate a holiday meal to the Food Bank. The bag contains everything except a turkey for a holiday meal.

Taking part in this campaign is easy. Participating stores will have pre-packed bags near Coca-Cola displays and by the cash register. Shoppers can grab a bag, have the bag scanned at checkout, and place it in the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank box to donate. Purchased bags will be donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to distribute meals to individuals in our 11-parish service area experiencing food insecurity.

Red Bags will be available for purchase from November 17, 2023, to December 25, 2023. Associated Grocers and Coca-Cola have set a goal to raise $100,000 for this year’s campaign. For a list of all participating Associated grocery stores click here.
