Baton Rouge Zoo’s Zoo Lights Returns this Holiday Season

Celebrate the holidays at Zoo Lights, a community event hosted by BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo. Stroll down a mile-long trail featuring over 50 illuminated displays of various animals and traditional holiday figures.

For the sixth year, the Baton Rouge Zoo is partnering with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to make an impact in their community. Visitors who donate a non-perishable food item (at least one per person) during their visit will receive half off regular admission price. Donated food will be given to individuals experiencing food insecurity in the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank’s 11-parish service area.

Zoo Lights begins on Friday, November 24, 2023, and runs through Saturday, December 25, 2023, from the hours of 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. For more information on the event, visit BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo website.
