Hunger Action Council Annual Giving Society
The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank offers many different ways for members of the community to donate. For donors looking to maximize their annual charitable donations, consider joining the Hunger Action Council.
The Hunger Action Council is an annual giving society where members commit to a multi-year donation pledge to help fight hunger in their community. This recurring donation ensures that the Food Bank will have the necessary support to be sustained beyond the current year.
This giving society was formed to boost fundraising efforts at the Food Bank and give voices to generous supporters. Members of the Council receive strategic plan updates in the Food Bank’s fight to end hunger and, therefore, are invited to engage with the leadership staff by offering personal insight and contributions.
Not only does this annual donation pledge allow the Food Bank to remain effective and efficient for multiple years, but it also ensures that your years are full of charitable and meaningful contributions to your community.
