How They Support Our Mission
Through corporate partnerships with CF Industries and Albertsons, we can further support our cause to feed the hungry. Both companies contribute by providing grant funding and volunteering their time and efforts to the warehouse’s operations. Their immense support for the Food Bank displays their dedication to creating a food-secure and healthy community.
How Their Contributions Are Fighting Hunger
CF Industries has contributed generously to our cause through donations, as well as by volunteering their staff’s time to help sort and repack boxes. They also provided funding to help launch the first school pantry program in five schools in Ascension Parish. In the past, they have also sponsored several holiday mobile distributions in our service area.
Albertsons has been a longtime supporter of the Food Bank, contributing through financial donations and volunteer shifts. In 2022, they provided funding for a new delivery truck to support warehouse operations. The Food Bank has also been a beneficiary of Albertsons’ annual “Hunger Is” campaign. They have also partnered with the Food Bank for their Nourishing Neighbors program, run by their charity foundation.

CF Industries is the world’s largest producer of ammonia, averaging an annual capacity of 10.5 million tons. They focus primarily on providing clean energy to fuel and sustainably feed the world. CF Industries is a leading global manufacturer of hydrogen and nitrogen products for clean energy, fertilizer, emissions abatement, and other industrial applications.
