Food Sorting & Repacking

Volunteers serve in the repack room to separate food into basic categories such as beverages, condiments, canned goods, snacks, etc.

Monday – Friday: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm 

Tuesday – Friday: 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm 

Saturday: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

Monthly Theme Night

• October – College Night (Greek, Athletic, etc.)
• November – Friendsgiving
• December – Family Night

Senior Grocery Program

Volunteers load food boxes, produce, milk and/or protein products directly into client vehicles.

First Saturday of each month: 7:30 am to 10:00 am

Administrative Support

Volunteers may participate in letter folding, answering phones, data entry, scanning, filing and/or other administrative needs.

Mobile Pantry Program

Volunteers are asked to help with the “drive-through” model distribution. Clients will remain in their vehicles to receive their distribution. Volunteers will assist with off-loading the truck with product and help with bringing distributions to vehicles. Volunteer shifts are available at several distribution sites throughout our 11-parish service area.

Community Garden

Volunteers may plant, maintain, or harvest crops at the Vince Ferachi Community Garden located at Capitol City Produce.
