Redstock Summer Drive 2014
REDSTOCK is a community wide summer drive campaign designed to increase donations of food, funds and volunteer hours for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. Every year, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank experiences a shortage of food and funds on the shelves during the summer when students are at home and not receiving free or reduced lunch through federal school programs. With this increase in demand, distributing enough food to support more than 130 agencies across 11 parishes becomes a real challenge. The REDSTOCK concept is designed to help close the gap on that demand. The purpose of the campaign is to encourage individuals, businesses, community groups and others to host a REDSTOCK food drive, fundraiser or volunteer project to benefit the Food Bank. Get involved today and help us “stock” the shelves for the summer. The REDSTOCK campaign runs from June 1 through August 31.
Participating in REDSTOCK is easy – organize a food drive, fundraiser or volunteer project under the REDSTOCK name. Download REDSTOCK resources below to get started.
