Junior League of Baton Rouge Hosts “Food’s Out For Summer” Food Drive Event
The Junior League of Baton Rouge is proud to host “Food’s Out For Summer” on April 25, 2015. Join the Junior League, the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and the East Baton Rouge Parish Library for a food drive event to collect food for children who will be missing up to 10 school-provided meals per week during the summer months. Summertime is a typically challenging time period for the Food Bank; donations tend to decrease while the need increases because children are out of school. Come enjoy a fun afternoon of outdoor fun with your community while also collecting food for those in need!
