Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to benefit from Hunger Is Campaign
This September when you visit Baton Rouge area Albertsons stores, you will see signs about the Hunger Is fundraiser and have an option to donate at checkout. A not-so-well-kept secret? The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will receive these donations!
We’re excited that the Baton Rouge area Albertsons and Albertsons Foundation chose the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank as a charity partner for this year’s Hunger Is campaign. Every dollar donated at checkout will go directly to our organization and be used toward our BackPack program. For more information on the BackPack program please click here.
Hunger Is, a charitable program of the Albertsons Foundation, has a goal — to eradicate hunger in America. We are honored to be a part of their work toward this goal.
