LSU Fans Support Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank in Rocco’s CWS Jell-O Shot Challenge
Despite not being in Omaha, LSU baseball fans are still eager to participate in the College World Series (CWS) Jell-O Shot Challenge to support the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank. Rocco’s Pizza and Cantina has set up a QR code and webpage to facilitate donations.
The Jell-O Shot Challenge, an annual competition among college baseball fans, encourages purchases based on team allegiance. While the LSU Tigers won’t be participating in the series, their fans are encouraged to compete and make an impact in their community.
“Knowing LSU fans and our community, I would not be surprised if they outdo all other teams,” Mike Manning, President and CEO of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, stated. “We take immense pride not only in our sports teams but also in making a difference.”
Last year, LSU fans showcased their commitment by purchasing a record-breaking number of Jell-O shots to significantly benefit the LSU Food Pantry. This year, Rocco’s is encouraging LSU fans to show their dedication by donating to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank Fans can tap the button below to donate.
