What are some of your hobbies?
Golf and watching basketball
What is something that most people would not know about you?
I was a 2 time Kentucky senior BMX champion.
What has surprised you most about your experience of serving on the Board?
The magnitude of impact of the FoodBank, both geographically and socially.
Why do you think the work of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank is important to the community?
People in need will be with us forever and a well organized and socially conscious organization is critical, both to identify that group and to provide a consistent source of service and compassion to those less fortunate.
What are you most proud of about the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank/What excites you most about the Food Bank’s future?
First, the Food Bank can persevere through almost any event, weather, politics, and varied personnel disasters. I am most excited about our new and improved physical facility to expand and enhance our ability to service this and surrounding communities for years to come.
