At the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, our mission to combat hunger is strengthened by the support of dedicated corporate partners like Nutrien. As a global leader in agriculture, Nutrien is committed to making a positive impact in their community.
Nutrien has been a reliable supporter of the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, helping us provide food assistance to families across our 11-parish service area. Through financial contributions, volunteer efforts, and food donations, they play a key role in ensuring our neighbors have access to nutritious meals.
In 2023, Nutrien demonstrated its commitment to fighting food insecurity with a generous $600,000 contribution to support food programs in the parishes where it operates. This donation helps ensure that individuals and families in Ascension, Iberville, and Pointe Coupee parishes have access to nutritious food through our mobile distributions, Farm Fresh Healthy Food Initiative, and BackPack program.
Together, Nutrien and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank share a vision of a food-secure community. Through collaboration, we can expand our reach, strengthen hunger relief efforts, and improve the well-being of families across the region.
