Empty Bowls at KINETICS Art Auction on November 8, 2019

Tuesday October 29, 2019

Empty Bowls will be at the Baton Rouge Gallery’s premier live art auction, KINETICS. The event at the gallery located inside of BREC’s historic City Park, 1515 Dalrymple Dr. is Friday, November 8, 2019 from 6:30-10:30 p.m. The event celebrates Louisiana contemporary art and provides a chance for arts supporters, business leaders and community members to share their passion for the visual arts.

Empty Bowls will have a table at KINETICS for attendees to craft ceramic bowls alongside ceramicists on a pottery wheel. This partnership will show one of the many ways that art makes the Baton Rouge community stronger and the quality of life in Baton Rouge better.

Tickets are available at batonrougegallery.org/kinetics/.

Empty Bowls is a fund-raising event for artists to come together to craft and donate hundreds of pottery bowls to be sold with a meal. A ticket to Empty Bowls will guarantee an attendee a bowl and a meal that day. This event also holds a silent auction, special Kid’s Zone and hands-on pottery making with live music. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and our fight to end hunger. Empty Bowls is usually held in April; check back soon for further 2020 event details.

Follow the Baton Rouge Empty Bowls Facebook page to be alerted for the event.
