Check Out Hunger in Stores Now

During the REDSTOCK campaign window, your Food Bank has once again teamed up with WAFB and BRPT Lake to bring you the REDSTOCK Check Out Hunger program. Check Out Hunger will run from June 19 – end of July. This program comes at a crucial time as every year the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank experiences a shortage of food and funds on the shelves during the summer months. Check Out Hunger helps to alleviate the added pressure that our member agencies feel as they serve those facing hunger on the front lines.

Getting involved in Check Out Hunger is easy! Just look for the specially marked REDSTOCK Check Out Hunger placards at the register of your local grocery store and the clerk will help you take care of the rest. This small donation added to your grocery bill, will make a big difference to hungry individuals, children and families in our 11-parish service area.

Hubben’s Supermarket — 560 N. Alexander, Port Allen, LA

Reeve’s Supermarket — 10770 N. Harrells Ferry Rd., Baton Rouge LA

You can also visit Baton Rouge Physical Therapy Lake locations to drop off food donations.
