2016 Iron Brewer Festival to Benefit Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank

Sunday February 14, 2016

IBF-16-WEBSTORY

The Iron Brewer Festival is back again this year! Scheduled to take place at the Tin Roof Brewing Company brewery on Saturday, February 20 at 1 p.m., the Festival promises a wide range of craft beer from a field of local brewing teams. Each team is assigned a different style of beer to create, and their handcrafted recipes are revealed at the festival. Each year, the People’s Choice award is given based on the feedback of the festival attendees.

This event will benefit the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank for the fourth year in a row. Admission is at least one non-perishable item to be donated to the Food Bank, but attendees are welcome to bring as much food to donate as they would like. In 2015, the Iron Brewers Festival collected more than 2,900 pounds of food, equivalent to more than 2,400 meals for those in need. They hope to exceed that amount this year.
